King's Church – Fushe-Arrez , Albania
One of the great joys we have known is to see how God has grown and developed the Church in Fushe-Arrez.
Fushe- Arrez is a small town of approximately 5000 people in the region of Puke in Northern Albania .
In the pre-communist times Fushe- Arrez was a small village with a rural existence; when the communists discovered copper a town was built to house the workers for the mines and the associated factories. Fushe- Arrez was also home to the countries biggest saw-mill; however since the emergence of democracy the lack of investment has led to widespread unemployment and migration.
There has been a Church working in the community since 1994, investing time; money and most importantly love into people's lives. The church is currently led by a team comprising of Ilirjana Sadria , Lili Doda and Hora Gera.
Anyone who visits king's Church can't help but be blessed by the infectious warmth of the people and a tangible sense of God's presence. Albania as a nation is changing rapidly and this is reflected in the Church which is in a season of prolonged transition.
PFJ Relationship
We are committed to seeing the Church grow and develop. To help facilitate this we seek to provide encouragement, support and care by being a sounding board for the many challenges and situations that the Church face.

The Christian Centre
King's church is involved in the building of a three storey Centre which will hold a
· meeting room
· Kindergarten
· English school
· Computer school
· Conference facilities
· Living accommodation for visitors
· Aid Warehouse
The shell of the building is now complete, however, interior work is now required for the top 2 floors. It is anticipated that this will cost approximately £10,000. When the work is complete it will be a fantastic resource not only for the town but also for the north of Albania
We run a partnership scheme to provide support. If you wish to support the work in Albania please download the financial partner form from our giving page.
