Mark and Alyson Curtis are the founders and leaders of PFJ and care for a number of churches and ministries in the UK and overseas, bringing support, encouragement, and direction. They have two daughters Charlotte and Emily. Mark is a Hull City supporter who loves all things Italian whereas Alyson loves nothing more than sitting down to read or watch a good murder mystery.
Liz Bowes oversees PFJ’s social and development projects around the world. She is desirous to see communities changed through practical love, networking and building relationships. Prior to joining the charity, she taught English for six years in Barrow-in-Furness, and at PFJ she has done much to connect schools in Barrow and Bolton with schools in Africa. Liz enjoys physical challenges and is climbing Kilimajaro to to raise money for some of the communities overseas supported by PFJ.

Paul is the senior leader of International Great Faith Centre in Kampaala, Uganda, and oversees our network on the continent of Africa. Paul is married to Mary and has three children. A powerful communicator, Paul has impacted the lives of many in numerous nations. Anyone who spends time with him can’t help but enjoy his fun and great sense of humour!
Helen and John Bradbury are leaders of Farnworth Baptist Church. They are passionate about enabling and encouraging people to fully develop their potential and calling. Their son Charlie, 9, is the youngest PFJ volunteer, visiting Rwanda and Uganda in 2009, alongside his sister Emily and parents. An enjoyable evening for John and Helen involves good food and a a visit to the cinema.
